MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, APRIL 16, 2010 - John G. Udell, president, of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. is pleased to announce that Sang Oak Ra has joined Weichert Commercial Brokerage as Senior Vice President. Mr. Ra brings with him over 40 years of experience in finance and commercial real estate.

Prior to joining Weichert Commercial, Mr. Ra was a licensed real estate salesperson with SBWE for 19 years.  As a broker, Mr. Ra has sold and leased over 2,000,000 square feet of property and has represented major clients such as SKC America, Inc., LG Hai America, Kia Machinery, Korea Express, Clover Luggage Co., and Powerline, Inc.  In addition, he has represented many developers/property owners including Hartz Mountain, Key Properties, Branca Properties, Central Bergen Properties, AMB Property Corporation, CYK Development, LLC, Sam Young Corp., and River Terminal.

Mr. Ra also served as President of Kussan, Inc., leading trading and distribution in the garment business sector.  His duties included managing purchasing, finances, distribution and apparel imports globally.  Sang has also been a columnist for the real estate section of The Korea Daily, covering commercial real estate including aspects of investing, leasing, purchasing, financing, environmental issues and zoning.
