CLARK, NJ,  JUNE 27, 2007 – John G. Udell, president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. (WCB) is pleased to announce that Vice Presidents Mark Calabro and George Simson have recently completed the sales transaction of 14 acres of land in Clark, NJ.  The 14 acre parcel was an unused portion of the Hazel Wood Cemetery, and was sold to the County of Union for $6,250,000.

The 14 acre parcel will become part of approximately 78 acres of park land in Union County, and will enable the County to join Esposito Farm Park and Milton Lake Park.

“Since we live in such a densely populated area, every acre we save improves our quality of life,” said Freeholder Dan Sullivan, chairman of the Open Space Trust Fund advisory committee.

“We are pleased to congratulate Mark and George on the closing of this transaction,” stated John G. Udell.  “Their in-depth knowledge and experience in this constantly changing market is an asset to individuals looking to buy, sell or lease any type of commercial property or land.”
