Fisher Completes Over $20 Million in Sales and Leases

MORRIS PLAINS, NJ, DECEMBER 7, 2015 – John G. Udell, president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, is pleased to announce that David Fisher, Senior Vice President, has completed over $20 million in sales and leases.

Fisher had 3 sales in Hillside. The largest sale was a 90,000 SF building, which was the former Picasso Lighting and Furniture building, located at 1405 North Broad Street. This building included 560 feet of frontage on Route 22.  Fisher represented the seller, Crown Real Estate Holdings, LLC and the buyer WRG Union which was represented by Mordy Rozenfeld and Effriem Rosenberg.  He also sold 40-50 Montgomery Street, 24,000 SF with Executive Vice President Anthony Baseil.

The third sale in Hillside was a 57,000 SF industrial building located at 480 Mundet Place. Fisher represented the seller, Quest Properties LLC, and the buyer, Flamingo Proper­ties. Flamingo Properties produces Pollaro Custom Furniture. The furniture is used in many diverse applications including residen­tial, yachts, corporate suites, boutique hotels, and retail interiors. This property will serve as a new corporate headquarters for Pollaro. Fisher also relocated the seller, Quest Properties LLC into their new corporate headquarters at 15 Bleeker Street in Millburn. Deborah Myers of Newmark Associates represented the landlord.

Another sale completed by Fisher was in Newton at 1 Brooks Plaza. This industrial building was situated on approximately 67 acres. This property had an existing 48,000 SF building, approvals for a 30,000 SF addition to the building and plans for another 50,000 SF freestanding modular building. Fisher was the only broker involved in this transaction.

Fisher had 2 sales in Paterson including 11,200 SF of industrial space at 137-143 Railway Avenue. Fisher represented the seller Crown Bank and the buyer El Tahan Children Trust LLC. The other sale completed in Paterson was 1-11 Morris Street, 19,049 SF sold with Executive Vice President Anthony Baseil.

At 606 Dowd Avenue, Elizabeth, Fisher expanded his client Clean Venture’s lease up to 20,400 SF. He represented both the landlord, Portview Properties and his client Clean Venture.

In Phillipsburg, Fisher leased approximately 9,600 SF of a 65,000 SF building which is currently being marketed for lease or for sale. Fisher represents JKR Phillipsburg LLC.

In addition to these deals, Fisher also leased 18,067 SF at 410-450 North Avenue East in Cranford. Fisher represented the owner Sun York Holdings. He also extended a lease with David Williams at 21 Fadem Road, Springfield. They represented the owner Tulfra and the tenant Axia. In the Fadem building, Fisher again represented the landlord Tulfra in a 6,000 SF rental.
